Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Curly Fern Art Studio we aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. Please read the following information regarding production, shipping, and delivery.

1. Processing Times

As many of our products are personalised, engraved, or handmade to order, processing times may vary.

Typical production times are normally 1-3 days (this may increase for larger orders)

Customers are encouraged to order early during peak seasons, such as Christmas, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and other seasonal events, as processing times may be longer, you will be informed of any delays in a timely manner.

2. Shipping Methods

Orders are shipped using trusted courier and postal services such as:

  • Royal Mail
  • ParcelForce
  • or other appropriate delivery partners

Shipping methods may vary depending on parcel size, destination, and service availability.

3. UK Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Standard Delivery: 2–3 working days
  • Express Delivery: 1–2 working days where available

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

While we make every effort to dispatch orders promptly, we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Delays caused by couriers, weather, industrial action, customs, or events beyond our control may occasionally occur.

We are not liable for:

  • Courier delays,
  • Missed occasions,
  • Consequential losses,
  • or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

(An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation the unavailability of raw materials at commercially reasonable prices, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport)

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Item size,
  • Weight,
  • and selected delivery service.

Any applicable shipping charges will be clearly displayed before payment.

5. Delivery Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Names,
  • Addresses,
  • and postcode information.

We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect delivery details supplied at checkout.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional postage charges may apply for redelivery.

6. Tracking Information

Where tracking is available, tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

Please allow time for tracking information to update.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel:

  • Arrives damaged,
  • Appears lost,
  • or is significantly delayed,

We may request:

  • Your order number,
  • Photographs of damage,
  • and confirmation of delivery details.

Claims for damaged items should be reported within 48 hours of delivery where possible.

8. Responsibility of orders being returned to Curly Fern Art Studio

For orders with an agreed return (see Returns policy for details), the customer is responsible for the item/s until they arrive at Curly Fern Art Studio for inspection.

Curly Fern Art Studio is not responsible for contacting couriers for lost / missing return items, if the shipping was purchased by you the customer.

9. International Shipping

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.

10. Business & Bulk Orders

Large, corporate, or wholesale orders may require additional processing and shipping time.

Delivery estimates for bulk orders will be agreed separately where applicable.
